PHILADELPHIA - Temple Women's Track and Field kicked off its 2025 outdoor season with a strong showing at the Penn Challenge on Saturday, March 22nd, at Franklin Field. The Owls faced off against 11 local schools, securing two event winners and three personal bests.

Results
> In the 100 meter dash, Siani Brown-Carr ran 12.63 and placed 9th. Dicia Watkins ran 27.55 in the 200 meters.
> Nya Browne ran a personal best 13.99 in the 100 meter hurdles finishing second. Dicia Watkins finished 8th.
> Laila Cottom clocked a new personal best in the 400 meters in a time of 59.02 finishing 8th. She was trailed by teammates Jayla Green (11th), Maya Gomes (12th), and Terren Bolton (14th) followed.
> Running the distance, Emma-Kate Watt opened her outdoor season running a personal best in the 1500 meters in a time of 4:51.97. Amelia Sabatino finished 13th in the 3k at 11:19.76.
> In the field events, Amira Green placed 2nd in the high jump clearing 1.71 meters. Olabisi Adams won the long jump with a leap of 5.74 meters, followed by Deja Scott (5th) and Shalisha Robertson (7th). Aliza White Vega cleared 3.73 meters in the pole vault for 4th place. Reagan Schwartz won the triple jump in 11.80 meters.
