TOWSON, MD - Temple women's track and field competed at the Towson Invitational this weekend hosted by Towson University. The Cherry & White had three event victories.

> Nya Browne took first place in the 100 meter hurdles.
> Browne secured the highest place for the Owls in the 100 meter dash with a 13th place finish setting a personal best in a time of 12.34. Allyson Metzger finished 15th and Siani Brown-Carr finished 22md. Metzger also placed 9th in the 200 meter dash in a time of 25.58.
> Jade Pope led the way for the Owls finishing second in the 400 meter dash. Followed by Jayla Green (15th), Maya Gomes (18th) Terren Bolton (23rd) and Maliah Powell (26th).
> In her first 400 meter-hurdle race of the season, Chloe Smith placed sixth in a time of 1:04.07.
> Emma-Kate Watt set another personal best in the 1500 meters finishing fifth in a time of 4:46.64.
>The Owls dominated in the field events with a first place finish from Amira Green clearing 1.65 meters in the high jump and Reagan Schwartz jumping 11.98 meters in the triple jump and Aliza White Vega clearing 3.55 meters in the pole vault.
> Temple secured 3rd, 7th and 11th place in the long jump with Olabisi Adams leading the way in a leap of 5.70 meters.
> Reece Sullivan finished second in the pole vault and Shalisha Robertson finished sixth in the triple jump.
> The Cherry & White concluded the meet with a fifth place finish in the 1600 meter relay.

The Owls will remain local and head to Princeton, New Jersey for the Sam Howell Distance Carnival hosted by Princeton University.
