Temple Women’s Track and Field Will Travel to Princeton for a One Day Meet

PHILADELPHIA - Women's track and field will compete in the Sam Howell Invitational, a one day meet on Friday April 4th. The Owls will compete against a few familiar faces; Rutgers, Rider, Yale, Villanova, LaSalle, NJIT and Columbia in 13 events.

Event Schedule

Last Time Out
> In field events, Amira Green (high jump), Reagan Schwartz (triple jump), and Aliza White Vega (pole vault) all secured first-place finishes.
> Nya Browne won the 100-meter hurdles and set a personal best in the 100-meter dash and Jade Pope led the Owls in the 400m, finishing second.
> Emma-Kate Watt set a personal best in the 1500 meters, placing fifth.

Previewing the Owls
> In the long jump, Olabisi Adams, Shalisha Robertson, Reagan Schwartz, and Deja Scott will compete. Robertson and Schwartz will also participate in the triple jump.
> Amira Green will compete in the high jump. Reece Sullivan and Aliza White Vega will take part in the pole vault.
> In the 100m dash, Siani Brown-Carr, Nya Browne, and Allyson Metzger will race. Browne will also compete in the 200m dash, along with Jade Pope and Metzger.
> For the 400m dash, Terren Bolton, Jayla Green, Mariah Jameson, and Maliah Powell will represent Temple.
> For the Owls Zuzanna Bak and Maya Gomes will compete in the 800 meters.
> Chloe Smith and Dicia Watkins will race in the 400-meter hurdles.
> Emma-Kate Watt will be the only Owl competing in the distance events running the 3000 meters.
