PRINCETON, NJ - Temple women's track and field claimed 15 top 10 finishes at the Sam Howell Invitational on Friday April 4th. The Owls showcased their talent against seven schools across neighboring states.

Results
> To begin the meet, Aliza White Vega and Reece Sullivan placed 2nd and 3rd in the pole vault both clearing 3.65 meters.
> Reagan Schwartz placed the highest for the Owls in the long jump, leaping a season's best 5.50 meters finishing 5th, Schwartz claimed the triple jump, in 11.92 meters. Olabisi Adams placed 7th and Deja Scott finished 8th. Amira Green claimed the victory in the high jump, clearing 1.66 meters.
> Mariah Jameson finished 6th in the 400 meters in a time of 56.58. Jayla Green placed 13th running 59.76. To round out the field for the Owls Maliah Powell and Terren Bolton finished 15th and 16th.
> Nya Browne ran a personal best 12.25 in the 100 meters placing 3rd. Allyson Metzger finished 8th running 12.46.
> Zuzanna Bak ran the 800 meters in her outdoor season debut placing 31st.
> Chloe Smith ran a seasons best 1:03.18 in the 400 meter hurdles placing 3rd, Dicia Watkins finished 7th.
> In the 200 meter dash, Metzger ran a personal best 24.81 finishing 6th, Browne trailed closely in a time of 24.88 and finished 7th.
> Emma-Kate Watt finished 8th in the 3000 meter steeplechase in a time of 11:04.82.
> To conclude the meet, Temple finished 2nd in the 1600 meter relay.
