DANBURY, Conn. – The offseason accolades continue for Temple men's basketball graduate guard Jamal Mashburn Jr., who was named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) First Team on Thursday morning.

An Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List honoree, Mashburn Jr. averaged 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23 games during his lone season in Cherry and White. The Miami native ranked second nationally in scoring and led the American Athletic Conference before suffering a lower-body injury that forced him to miss nine of the final 10 games of the 2024–25 season.

A two-time AAC Player of the Week selection, Mashburn Jr. scored 20-plus points in 16 contests and topped 30 points three times, including a career-best 34-point effort in a double-overtime win over Charlotte. In 10 AAC games, he averaged 24.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

He is the first Owl to earn All-ECAC honors since Shizz Alston Jr. was named to the All-ECAC Second Team in 2019. In addition to his All-ECAC selection, Mashburn Jr. has received NABC All-District First Team, All-AAC Second Team and AAC All-Newcomer Team honors this season.
