CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Temple women's track and field competed at the Virginia Challenge, hosted by UVA this weekend. The Owls competed against over 50 schools over the course of two days. 11 athletes represented the Cherry and White in seven events.

> Amira Green cleared 1.70 meters in the high jump to finish 10th.
> Chloe Smith placed 16th in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 1:03.62.
> Inara Shell leaped 5.83 meters in the long jump finishing 10th.
> Allyson Metzger and Nya Browne placed 49th and 54th in the 100 meter dash. Jade Pope led the Owls in the 200 meter dash in a time of 24.95. Mezger and Browne finished 49th and 55th.
> Mariah Jameson ran 56.10 in the 400-meter dash.
> In the 100 meter hurdle, Browne ran 14.06 to finish 19th.
> The quartet ran a season's best 3:50.19 in the 1600-meter relay to place 12th.
