Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Announces 2025 Scholar-Athletes

PHILADELPHIA – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the list of 2025 Scholar-Athletes, and eight Temple Owls are represented. The scholar-athlete awards honor outstanding collegiate rowers who exemplify excellence both in the classroom and on the water.
To be recognized as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, the nominees must meet the following academic and athletic standards:

Academic Criteria
- Must meet all institutional and conference eligibility rules
- Must be in their second, third, fourth, or fifth year of eligibility
- Must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the end of the fall semester/winter quarter of the current academic year
- Must have rowed in at least 75% of spring races in an NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boat
- Must have raced in an NCAA boat at their conference championship

- Cassidy Burns – Sophomore, Sports and Recreation Management, 3.68 GPA
- Alex Catalano – Senior/Fifth Year, Bioengineering, 3.69 GPA
- Nina Crandell – Sophomore, Communication Studies, 3.93 GPA
- Ren Edmiston – Senior/Fifth Year, Architecture, 3.93 GPA
- Elizabeth Kaidasz – Junior, Health Professions, 3.81 GPA
- Eve Keesecker – Senior, Journalism, 3.92 GPA
- Niamh Kiely – Senior, Advertising, 3.74 GPA
