2.11.26 | Women's Gymnastics
PHILADELPHIA - The Cherry & White will return to Philadelphia for a Senior Night quad meet with William & Mary, Brown, and Yale on Friday, Feb. 13. The meet will begin at 6:00 pm and will be streamed on ESPN+. Live results can be seen on owlsports.com.
Temple will honor Senior Reese DeHaan in a post-meet ceremony. DeHaan is the only student-athlete that has been with Head coach Hilary Steele since she arrived at Broad and Cecil. The Bradenton, Fla. native kicked off her collegiate career in her sophomore season where she competed in all 13 events the Owls took part in. On seven occasions DeHaan scored a 9.700 or higher with her season-high of 9.775 coming at the 2024 EAGL Championships on bars. In her junior season DeHaan competed in 13 of Temple's 14 meets on bars. She achieved a 9.700 or higher five times on bars throughout the season and tied her career-high of 9.775 on bars at the North Carolina meet. In her final season with the Owls she has matched her career-high of 9.775 on bars three times and has competed on the bars in every meet this season. She was named a 2023 WCGA Scholastic All-American and was named to the 2025 EAGL All-Scholastic Team.
LAST TIME OUT
The Temple Owls posted a season-high 194.500 this afternoon at the New Hampshire Dual Meet against the top team in the EAGL Conference. The Owls performed strong on floor to help get to that score with three individuals finishing with a 9.825 or higher on the apparatus.
Final Results
1st – New Hampshire (195.600)
2nd – Temple (194.500)
Rotation 1 (BARS: 48.600)
Mariella Brueck held the second position on the bars today for Temple and set the tone early. The junior posted a season-high score of 9.750 on the event. Ava Sutphen posted her highest bar score since week one against Rutgers and SUNY Brockport with her 9.700. The hometown hero Megan White hit a 9.725 on the bars today which marks a season-high for her. Robyn Dunne tied Brueck with the highest score on the bars for the Owls with her 9.725. This tied her second-highest score of the season on the event.
Rotation 2 (VAULT: 48.425)
Freshman Jade Harden recorded a new career-high on the vault in today's meet. She led the Owls, as well, with her 9.825. Temple's anchor on vault is Amelia Budd for good reason. Budd recorded a 9.800 in today's meet, her second highest result on the apparatus this season. Budd has scored above a 9.725 or higher on vault in every meet this season.
Rotation 3 (FLOOR: 48.975)
Freshman Ella Beck led off the third rotation on floor for Temple with a career-high performance resulting in a 9.750. Following Beck's lead, Brueck posted her own career-high on floor. Previously she had a career-high of 9.800 which she set only a few weeks ago, but now her high sits at 9.825. Budd wanted to get in on the career-high floor routines her teammates set before her. She posted a 9.850 on the floor, breaking her previous record of 9.800 that was set this season against LIU. Nikki Rengifo scored the third 9.825 or higher in the rotation for the Owls as she put up just that. This score tied a season-high for the sophomore. Today's floor rotation by the Owls set a season-high with the previous mark sitting at 48.900.

Rotation 4 (BEAM: 48.500)
Hailey Best kicked off the final rotation for Temple with a strong performance resulting in a 9.775. This is her second-highest score of the season. Beck posted her second-highest score of her career on the beam in today's meet with her 9.675 on the event. Rengifo continued her outstanding day for Temple and closed it out with a new career-high score on the beam. Her 9.850 led the way for the Owls.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Brown Bears come into this week's meet with a 7-3 overall record and a 2026 average score of 193.425. In a tri-meet this past weekend with Rhode Island College and Springfield College, the Bears posted a season-high score of 194.550. The score was in large part because of Brown's performance on the beam and the floor, posting a 48.875 on each. Junior Lindsey Yang sits as one of the top performers on this year's squad. Yang posted a 9.925 on beam and a 9.875 on floor a few weeks ago against Yale.
William & Mary enters the meet ranked 68th in the NCAA and averages a 190.675. The Tribe has only competed twice this season once being this past weekend at the Penn Quad Meet. W&M ranks 55th in the country on the balance beam and that's in part due to Ashley Ruedy's performance against Penn, GW, and Cornell. The sophomore posted a season-high 9.775 on the event.
The Yale Bulldogs come in as the highest ranked team in the meet at 47th in the NCAA averaging a 194.415 in the five meets they've competed in this season. Most recently, the Bulldogs topped Southern Connecticut State University in a dual meet and put up a 194.775. Yale ranks 37th in the country on the floor. The lineup is headlined by freshman Annie Bilbe and senior Gigi Sabatini as the duo put up the highest scores yet this year on floor (9.850).
