SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Eastern Michigan Eagles come into week eight off of a season-high performance at Ball State last Sunday. The Eagles posted a 194.125 against Ball State and came up just short as the Cardinals finished with a 195.025.
A name for fans to keep their eye on this week for Eastern Michigan would be Kyrie Lowe. The senior is the lone all-around gymnast on EMU, and shines specifically on the floor. She averages a 9.733 on the event and has scored a season-high 9.800 twice. Junior Katin Childress is the leader on Eastern Michigan on the beam. She averages a 9.717 on the apparatus and has a season-high of a 9.875. She has scored above a 9.800 on the event four times in 2026.
Lowe is also the top uneven bars performer on the Eagles. She has marked above a 9.800 on the event three times, with her season-high coming last week at Ball State. On the vault, Kendall Landry is a mainstay for Eastern Michigan. The junior from Frisco, Texas averages a 9.733 on the event this season and is most recently coming off of her season-high mark of a 9.850 against Ball State.
