Track & Field Sends Seven Athletes to Compete in the Penn Challenge

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University's women's track and field team is set to compete in the Penn Challenge this Saturday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa. Temple will have seven athletes representing the Cherry & White in five events. The jumping events will start at noon followed by the running events at 1:00 p.m.

Previewing the Owls
- Zayniah Ali will be the only Owls running in the 100m dash and the 100m hurdles.
- Maliah Powell will compete in the 400m dash.
- The Owls will have Emilie Creighton, Jayla Green, Reese Morgan, Brooke Shellenberger, and Dagny Shiffler race in the 800m dash.
- The final event of the day will be the 4x400m relay which will include Creighton, Morgan, Shellenberger, and Shiffler.
Temple will travel to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays on Mar. 26-28.
