Temple Women’s Rowing to Kick Off 2026 Spring Season Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple Owls women's rowing squad will begin its 2026 spring campaign on Saturday, March 28 at home on the Schuylkill River when the team welcomes La Salle, Monmouth, Delaware, Fordham, Georgetown, and Navy to the Temple Boathouse.
This is the inaugural spring season for Temple as a part of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Owls will compete tomorrow against one of those MAC schools in the University of Delaware, so this will be an early litmus test for Temple. Temple and Delaware are joined by Eastern Michigan, High Point, UMass, and Toledo in the newly formed MAC Conference. The schools will all meet on May 16 in Ypsilanti, MI. for the first ever MAC Championships hosted by Eastern Michigan.
For tomorrow's race, there will be two sessions one beginning at 10:00 am and the second beginning at 1:00 pm. Conditions for tomorrow's event will be partly cloudy and cold with temperatures feeling like the upper 30s.
