Track & Field Ready for Two Days of Competition at Virginia Challenge

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University's women's outdoor track and field team travels to Charlottesville, Va. to compete in the Virginia Challenge on Apr. 17-18. The Owls will have 16 athletes compete across 12 different events during the two day meet.

Previewing the Owls
Temple will now gear up to compete in the Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25.

Previewing the Owls
- Competing in the field events are Kamryn Ohm (pole vault), Smilla Ranebro (high jump), Reagan Schwartz (long jump and triple jump), Deja Scott (triple jump), Inara Shell (long jump and triple jump), and Reece Sullivan (pole vault).
- Running in the 100m dash is Kenya Merritt and Lila Ziegler.
- Laila Cottom and Merritt will both be competing in the 200m dash.
- Representing the Cherry & White in the 400m dash is Cottom, Kei-Mahri Hanna, Grace Hickman, and Mariah Jameson.
- Chloe Smith and Dicia Watkins will be running in the 400m hurdles.
- Rian Johnson will be the only Owl competing in the 800m and the 1500m races.
- Running in the 5000m will be Rose Tuomisto.
- Temple will have Cottom, Hanna, Hickman, Jameson, and Smith compete in the 4x400m relay.
