Track & Field Finishes Strong at Virginia Challenge

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University's women's outdoor track and field team just wrapped up a two-day meet in Charlottesville, Va. at the Virginia Challenge. Kei-Mahri Hanna set a new personal record in the 400m dash with a time of 54.06. Putting the freshman in sixth place out of 72 competitors.

Results

In the pole vault, Kamryn Ohm placed 11th out of 21 athletes with a height of 3.75m (12'-3.5"). Reece Sullivan also competed in the event and finished with a height of 3.30m (10'-10").
Smilla Ranebro achieved a height of 1.52m (4'-11.75") in the high jump.
Reagan Schwartz reached a distance of 5.18m (17'-0") in the long jump..
Rian Johnson finished the 1500m race with a time of 4:46.25.
In the 400m hurdles, Chloe Smith set a new personal record after coming across the line with a time of 1:01.55, putting her in 13th out of 44 athletes. Dicia Watkins finished in 33rd with a time of 1:04.76.
Rose Tuomisto was the only Owl to compete in the 5000m race and she finished with a time of 17:57.29.
Laila Cottom competed in the 200m dash and finished with a time of 27.25.
The only athlete to represent the Cherry & White in the 800m event was Johnson, who finished with a time of 2:20.90.
Inara Shell placed seventh out of 27 athletes in the triple jump after reaching a distance of 12.67m (41'-7"). Deja Scott also competed in the event and finished with a distance of 11.65m (38'-2.75").
Mariah Jameson finished in 14th in the 400m dash with a time of 55.45. Also competing in this event was Cottom, who came across the line in 58.97.
Lila Ziegler ran in the 200m Invite and placed 18th out of 33rd with a time of 24.15. Marking a new personal record for the sophomore.
