Track & Field Ready for 130th Running of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University's women's outdoor track and field team is set to compete in the 130th running of the Penn Relays celebrating with America250. The three-day meet will take place at the historic Franklin Field located in Philadelphia, Pa.. Temple will have ten athletes competing across seven different events.

Previewing the Owls

Competing in the field events will be Kamryn Ohm (pole vault), Inara Shell (triple jump - College), Reagan Schwartz (triple jump - Championship), and Reece Sullivan (pole vault).
Kei-Mahri Hanna will be the only one to represent the Cherry & White in the 400m hurdles.
Running in the Sprint Medley Relay (SMR) is Laila Cottom, Grace Hickman, Mariah Jameson, Chloe Smith, and Lila Ziegler.
The Owls will have Hanna, Hickman, Jameson, Smith, and Ziegler also competing in the 4x200m relay.
The final event for Temple will be the 4x400m relay which will consist of Cottom, Hanna, Hickman, Jameson, Smith, and Ziegler.

Previewing the Field

Including Temple, there will be 110 NCAA DI schools competing over the course of the three days. There are also a combined 74 schools from NCAA DII, NCAA DIII, NAIA, JUCO, and others that will be competing alongside Temple.
