Greene Named to 2026 American Conference Volleyball Preseason All-Conference

PHILADELPHIA – The American Conference announced Wednesday afternoon the 2026 Preseason All-Conference team. Junior outside hitter Christiana Greene was named to this list ahead of the upcoming season. Greene is one of fourteen individuals on the preseason squad.
Greene was a dominant presence on both sides throughout conference play during the 2025 season. Greene led the Owls with 249 kills on a .252 hitting percentage, averaging 3.89 kills per set. She added 32 total blocks, nine service aces, and 86 digs, finishing with 278.0 points, one of the highest totals on the team during conference competition.
Greene recorded double-digit kills in every conference match, including three performances with 20 or more kills. She also tallied three double-doubles, combining kills and digs. After joining the serving rotation late in the season, her topspin serve contributed nine aces over eight matches.
Greene's impact extended into the program record book as well. She moved into 10th all-time for single-season kills, finishing with 404 across 31 matches, and tied for third in program history for solo blocks in a single match (3).
Greene and the Owls kick off the 2026 season next Friday at home for the Cherry & White Invitational. Temple will host Manhattan on Friday, August 28 at 12:00 pm. Saturday, August 29 will be a 12:00 pm contest against Fordham before the Owls square off on Sunday, August 30 at 12:00 pm against Rider.
