PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University field hockey team continues its four-game homestand this weekend, opening BIG EAST play against Georgetown on Friday before hosting Hofstra on Sunday at Howarth Field.
Temple (3-3) welcomes Georgetown (3-3) on Friday at 1 p.m. to open BIG EAST play, before closing the weekend against Hofstra (2-3) on Sunday at noon. Both contests will air on ESPN+.

Dream Crazy, Women in Sports Highlight Home Weekend
Temple continues its home stretch with a pair of promotional games at Howarth Field. Friday's BIG EAST opener against Georgetown will serve as the Owls' Dream Crazy game and feature a tote bag giveaway. Sunday's matchup against Hofstra will feature High School Day and Women in Sports Day.

GAUVIN EARNS BIG EAST HONOR
Gauvin found the cage in both contests last weekend, finishing with two goals, four points, six shots and four shots on goal.
The sophomore scored the game-tying goal late in the first half against No. 19 Monmouth before adding another in Temple's 5-0 victory over Rider. Following the performance, Gauvin was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, marking the first conference weekly honor of her career.
MAGRO AMONG BIG EAST LEADERS
Magro continues to lead the Temple offense with five goals and 11 points through six games. The sophomore recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's victory over Rider, helping Temple pull away during its three-goal third quarter.
The Buenos Aires, Argentina, native ranks 26th nationally and third in the BIG EAST with 0.83 goals per game. She also ranks 35th nationally and fourth in the conference with 1.83 points per game.
LEPORE LEADS THE LEAGUE
Junior goalkeeper Alex Lepore continues to sit atop the BIG EAST in saves per game, averaging 4.33 stops per contest. The mark ranks 35th nationally. Lepore also ranks fifth in the conference with a .684 save percentage.
Lepore and the Temple defense recorded their first shutout of the season against Rider, limiting the Broncs to four total shots and just one attempt on goal.
