2019-20 (Dartmouth): Sat out the season with an injury.
2018-19 (Dartmouth): Selected as the A.D. “Dolly” Stark Award winner as the Big Green’s MVP…led the Ivy League in minutes played (35:31), assist-to-turnover ratio (2.20) and 3-point percentage (.445), the last of which ranked 10th nationally…on a per-game basis, second in the conference in 3-pointers (2.7), sixth in assists (3.2), 10th in steals (1.2) and 11th in scoring (13.2)…had at least one triple in all but three games…scored in double figures in 20 of the 30 contests, topping 20 points five times…dropped 26 points with a career-best eight triples (in just 10 attempts) in the season-opening blowout over Newbury…recorded 100th career 3-pointer in the first game of the Belfast Classic, becoming the 17th player in Dartmouth history to hit the milestone…buried seven triples in 11 attempts en route to a game-high 25 points to help the Big Green defeat Albany at the Belfast Classic, 91-77…hauled in a career-best eight rebounds in the loss to Quinnipiac…averaged 20.5 points during the four-game winning streak, hitting 19-of-34 (.559) 3-pointers, while dishing out 18 assists with only four turnovers…exploded for a career-high 31 points with eight trifectas in the 78-68 win over Boston University…named Ivy League Player of the Week on Dec. 17 for averaging 21.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in three victories…dropped 21 points and hauled in seven rebounds versus Columbia in the 82-66 win on Feb. 9…dished out a season-high seven assists to go with three swipes at Penn in a career-high 45 minutes…matched his career high with 10 field goals when scoring a game-high 26 points at Princeton…swiped a personal-best four steals at Brown…popped four treys while scoring 17 points in the 77-76 overtime loss to Princeton on March 1.
2017-18 (Dartmouth): Finished the year second in the Ivy League with 105 assists, becoming the first Dartmouth player with more than 100 in a season in 16 years…led the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.6) and ranked second in minutes per game (35.0)…would have led the league in 3-point percentage (44.2), but did not reach the minimum number of buckets to qualify…led the Big Green with 53 3-pointers…also led the team in free throw percentage (86.4)…scored in double figures in nine of the first 10 games, averaging 13.4 points along the way…opened the season with a 19-point performance in a tough one-point loss at Quinnipiac…set a career-high the next outing with seven rebounds against Emerson…dished out exactly four assists in each of the next five contests while knocking down 15 3-pointers…first career double-double came at Notre Dame on Dec. 19, tallying 10 points while handing out a career-high 12 helpers…led the Big Green to a 75-58 win at Bryant with a personal-best 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting with a career-high five triples…played 42 minutes in the overtime loss to Harvard, posting 12 points and five assists…dished oud six dimes in a 16-point win over Princeton…his 14 points in the penultimate game was a season high in Ivy play, helping the Green defeat Columbia, 80-78.
2016-17 (Dartmouth): Fourth on the team in scoring and steals, third in assists and was the most accurate outside shooter at 45.5 percent...was even better in league play draining 17-of-36 (.472) from deep with a 3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio...played in just two of the first five games, hitting his first collegiate shot against Marist, a 3-pointer...scored at least one point in 20 of the final 22 contests...hit all three shots with two triples in scoring nine points at Vermont...hit double figures for the first of three times with 14 points in the first Big Green win of the year at LIU Brooklyn, 82-68, thanks to two trifectas and an 8-of-9 performance at the foul line...with Dartmouth trailing by two and the clock winding down, ripped a 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds left to give the Green their third straight win, 63-62, over New Hampshire on New Year’s Eve, earning DartmouthSports.com Male Athete of the Week honors...popped a season-high three 3-pointers while scoring 12 against Harvard in Hanover...added 10 more in Cambridge two weeks later to go with six assists and four rebounds, both personal bests...with nine more points at Columbia the following week, ended a five-game stretch of drilling 9-of-14 3-point attempts...swished a pair of treys, dished out six helpers and swiped the ball twice in the 80-79 overtime win over Columbia...provided eight essential points on 3-of-4 shooting and 2-of-3 from long range to help complete the season sweep of Penn in a 76-74 triumph at the Palestra.
High School: Set career scoring record at Rumson-Fair Haven with 1,812 points as a four-year letterwinner and two-year captain for Coach Chris Champeau...also produced 431 assists, 306 rebounds, 277 three-pointers and 258 steals, and as a senior earned first-team all-state honors from USA Today while averaging 25.7 points, 4.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game...2016 Gatorade Player of the Year Nominee and McDonald’s All-America Nominee...set school’s single-game scoring record with 50 points...named the Asbury Park Press Player of the Year as a junior, helping his team post a record of 24-5 and a Shore Conference Tournament championship.
Personal: Son of Richard and Colleen Barry has one brother and two sisters...born Aug. 3, 1997 in Red Bank, New Jersey...father played basketball at Fairfield in the mid-’80s and was on two Stags team that played in the NCAA Tournament...late grandfather, James Barry, was an All-America honorable mention at Georgetown in the 1960s, and named to the Hoyas’ 25-man all-century team in 2007...related to NBA great Rick Barry...volunteer for the Randy Foye Foundation throughout high school.
