Selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 34th round (1,024 overall) in the 2005 MLB Draft...Played freshman season for Temple head coach Rob Valli at Gloucester County College...Played for the Harwich Mariners in the Cape Cod League during the summer of 2006.

2007: Appeared in 14 games, starting 13...Was 1-5 with a 6.25 ERA...Set career-high with 76.1 innings pitched...Struck out 42 batters...Allowed three earned runs in seven innings to help Owls upset Winthrop, 6-5 (3/2)...Struck out career-high nine batters in seven innings at La Salle (3/30)...Picked up only win of season with four earns runs in 7.1 innings at Dayton (4/8). 2006: All-Philadelphia Big 5 selection and team[apos]s Most Outstanding Pitcher...Led team in all major pitching categories...Was 5-7 with 4.26 ERA...Fanned 55 batters in 74 innings pitched...Started 13 games and fired three shutouts...Had scoreless streak of 26 innings from February 24 to March 31...Picked up first win at Temple with six innings of three-hit ball at Hawaii-Hilo (3/5)...Pitched five innings of one-hit ball in 7-0 win over Hawaii-Hilo (3/11)...Threw first nine-inning complete-game shutout for Temple since 2002 in 2-0 win over Saint Joseph[apos]s (3/25)..Struck out career-high eight batters against Xavier (5/6) and La Salle (5/19).

2005 (at GCC): Went 8-2 with a 3.25 ERA...Struck out 61 batters...Helped lead the Roadrunners to the NJCAA National Championship...Teammate of current Owl Stan Orzechowski.

High School: Two-time first team all-conference.

Personal: Represented his native Curacao in the 2003 Pam Am Games and the Senior League World Series...Majoring in accounting...Played summer baseball for the Vermont Mountaineers, leading team to New England Collegiate Baseball League title.
