2005: Appeared in 11 games, starting five...Went 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA in 28 innings...Tossed two shutout innings against Boston College (Mar. 6) in first collegiate appearance...Struck out five in 5.1 innings and allowed two earned runs in first start versus Pittsburgh (Mar. 12)...Collected A-10 Rookie of the Week honors after throwing five innings of one-hit shutout ball for first win at Penn.

High School: All-state and all-conference selection...Team MVP...Played in state all-star game...Led team in all-major pitching categories...Also played football.
