The Owls made significant progress in the second season under Fisher's staff, improving their regular-season win total by five and adding four additional victories in AAC play. Temple's offense shined, setting a new program record of 78.8 points per game. Defending the Liacouras Center with pride, the Owls boasted a 12-2 record on North Broad Street, defeating No. 18 Memphis and North Texas. Temple became the only AAC team to beat the top two seeded conference teams in the regular season.
Jordan helped recruit Jamal Mashburn Jr., a three-time All-Mountain West standout, through the transfer portal. Mashburn thrived in his lone season in the Cherry and White, earning spots on the All-AAC Second Team and the AAC Newcomer Team. Prior to an injury that caused him to miss nine of the final 10 games of the season, Mashburn Jr. ranked second nationally in points per game (22.0) and led the conference in scoring. He became the first NABC All-District First Team selection at Temple since 2019-20.
The 2024 recruiting class, ranked as the top class in the conference by Rivals, was highlighted by a Aiden Tobiason's AAC All-Freshman Team selection.
As an assistant coach at Albany, Jordan posted a 2-2 record as the acting head coach for the Great Danes over the first four games in the 2022-23 season.
Prior to his one year at Albany, Jordan spent three seasons at Wagner (2019-22), helping lead the Seahawks from an eight-win season his first year to a 13-7 mark and the Northeast Conference regular season championship (13-5) in year two. His final year at Wagner, he helped lead the Seahawks to a 21-6 mark (15-3 NEC), including a 16-game win streak, the longest in the nation at the time. That season Wagner had four players, including NEC Player of the Year Alex Morales, selected to the NEC All Conference teams, the first time in program history.
A 2009 Drexel alum, Jordan began his coaching career with the Dragons. He served two seasons as an operations assistant for the program before joining Bruiser Flint’s staff as an assistant coach for three seasons (2012-15). He was a major influence in the development of guards Damion Lee, Terrell Allen, Frantz Massenat, and Chris Fouch. Lee currently is a member of the Phoenix Suns and was a 1st Team All CAA pick. Allen went on to earn All Rookie honors. Massenat was a First Team All-CAA pick and CAA All Rookie pick, while Fouch was a three-time All-CAA selection as well as the CAA Rookie of the Year.
Jordan also worked at the prestigious IMG Academy as head basketball coach. He led the Ascenders to a 26-4 record and saw five players sign with Division 1 schools, along with five others signing on to play college basketball.
Prior to IMG, Jordan served as head coach at Philadelphia area prep school Girard College. He guided the Cavaliers to a 23-6 record and a state playoff appearance. The Cavaliers were considered one of the top teams in Pennsylvania's Class 1A throughout the season. Three of Jordan's players went on to earn Division 1 scholarships.
Jordan graduated Drexel in 2009 with a degree in Sport Management. He and his wife Kate have two daughters Mackenzie and Madison.
