Ryan Larkin joined the Temple Athletics staff as an assistant athletic trainer in January 2022. In August of 2024 she earned her Doctor of Athletic Training from Temple University, and February of 2025 Larkin was promoted to the associate athletic trainer. She works primarily with the women’s gymnastics and women’s rowing.

Larkin came to Temple from Tulane University, where she spent three years as an assistant athletic trainer working with the football program. She earned her master's degree in homeland security and emergency management from Tulane University in 2019.

While completing requirements for her master's Larkin worked for Tulane University football and women’s tennis programs. Prior to enrolling at Tulane University, Larkin served as an athletic training intern at University of Denver where she worked directly with the women’s soccer program and assisted with various sports coverages; women’s gymnastics, men’s ice hockey and both men’s and women’s tennis.

Larkin has been a board-certified athletic trainer since 2016 and has held a Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine license since 2022. She is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society.
