Background
Brown comes to Temple from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she competed as an all-around gymnast. Throughout her prep career, Brown qualified for the State Championships in each of her four seasons and advanced to both the State and Regional Championships during her sophomore, junior and senior campaigns. As a senior, she recorded 16 top-three event finishes, including nine event titles, highlighted by three all-around championships, three uneven bars titles, two floor exercise victories, one vault title and one balance beam title. She also served as a Garland Gymnastics wear model during her final three seasons.
Brown totaled more than 50 top-three finishes during her final three seasons while setting four Palm Coast Gymnastics records on vault, balance beam and floor exercise. She became the first gymnast in Palm Coast Gymnastics history to earn a full NCAA Division I gymnastics scholarship and was the recipient of the Palm Coast Gymnastics Charlie's Angel Award. Brown also served as a junior coach and private instructor, mentoring younger gymnasts throughout her club career.
