PHILADELPHIA -- In a rare, late season non-conference game, the Temple University volleyball team (14-5, 5-0 A-10) defeated the William and Mary Tribe three games to none this evening, October 14, 2002 at McGonigle Hall. The game scores were 30-15, 30-21 and 30-23.

Outside hitter Xu Yun led the Owls and had a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs while fellow outside hitter Liu Shu added 10 kills and 11 digs. Setters Alison Runk and Solan Lee shared the duties at the setter position posting a combined 44 assists.

William and Mary were led by Katherine Lewis with six kills and seven digs and Meghan Eisenman with six kills and three digs. Setter Amy Owens had 21 assists.

The Owls play at home again on Friday, October 19, 2002 in McGonigle Hall. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
