Bridget Settles Earns A-10 Field Hockey Performer of the Week Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Temple junior Bridget Settles has earned Atlantic 10 Conference Performer of the Week honors after leading the field hockey team to a pair of wins last week. The Haddon Township, N.J., native scored two goals and tallied two assists in helping the Owls earn wins against Saint Joseph's and Penn.
Settles assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory vs. Saint Joseph's on Oct. 8, and scored twice including the game-winner in a 4-1 win vs. Penn on Oct. 10.
Settles also assisted on a third goal against the Quakers, tallying six total points for the week. She leads the team this season with 11 goals and four assists, for a total of 26 points.
