Becca Keener, Sarah Dalrymple and Bridget Settles earn tourney recognition
PHILADELPHIA - For their play in Temple's semifinal game against Massachusetts, three members of the field hockey team were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team. Juniors Becca Keener and Bridget Settles along with senior Sarah Dalrymple received recognition.
Dalrymple tied her season high with 10 saves in the game, which ended in a 1-0 overtime loss for Temple. Keener anchored a defense that kept the game scoreless through regulation despite 21 shots by UMass. Settles, Temple's leading scorer for the year with 13 goals, took one of the Owls' two shots on goal in the contest.
The team finished the season at 9-12 overall and placed fourth in the Atlantic 10 to earn a tournament berth for the eighth straight year.
