Field Hockey’s Dalrymple and Settles Earn All-Region Honors

Both named to 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team
PHILADELPHIA – Field hockey senior Sarah Dalrymple and junior Bridget Settles were both named to the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team, as announced today by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). The all-region honor is the first for both in their Temple careers.
Dalrymple was Temple's lone goalkeeper this season and recorded a league-best six shutouts while leading the Owls to an Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinal appearance. She tallied 95 saves in 2010 and had a saves percentage of .731 to rank fourth in the A-10.
Dalrymple will participate in the upcoming NFHCA Division I Senior Game on Nov. 20 at the University of Maryland.
Settles led the Owls with 13 goals and five assists for 31 total points in her junior season. She was named to the Atlantic 10 First Team, and her 13 goals ranked fourth in the conference.
