LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL -
The #21/20 Temple Owls take on Texas A&M in the fifth place game of the Old Spice Classic Sunday morning (11:00 a.m./ESPNU?&?ESPN 3D/1210 AM?WPHT).  Temple defeated Georgia 65-58 on Friday evening while Texas A&M toppled Manhattan, 74-45, on the same day.

The Owls were led by junior forward Scootie Randall, who delivered a career high 18 points on seven-of-nine shooting (4-6 from three). Ramone Moore, who leads the Owls with an 11.3 scoring average, added 14 points while Micheal Eric and Khalif Wyatt each tallied 10 points. It was a career best for Wyatt, who also matched his personal best in minutes played (16).

Seven players are averaging 6.5 points or more for head coach Fran Dunphy's Owls, but only one (Moore) tops double figures. Temple also rebounds by committee with six players between 4.3 and 6,3 rebounds per game led by Eric (6.3 rpg.)

Temple's defense has been its constant. The Owls have nor allowed an opponent to score 60 pointsthis season and top the A-10 in scoring defense (55.0 ppg).

Texas A&M, which suffered its first setback of the season, 67-65, to Boston College in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic, is led by sophomore forward Khris Middleton (16.2 ppg.). Senior forward Nathan Walkup (13.2 ppg.)?and junior forward David Loubeau (11.2 ppg.)?also score in double figures for third year head coah Mark Turgeon's Aggies.

Temple and Texas A&M have only met once on the hardwood, that coming at The Palestra on December 17, 1957. The Owls won that contest, 60-44.
