Camp Information:
July 10 & 11 - Sweet D Field Hockey Day Camp at Temple's Geasey Field
Two day, day camp for High School aged players ages 14– 18 years. Campers will receive elite field hockey instruction in a safe, educational and fun environment on two full fields of AstroTurf. Campers will also get a tour of Philadelphia with the “Ride the Ducks” tour on Sunday. This camp is open to all High School players but is designed for players who want elite level instruction. Each player will receive the Longstreth Camp Package that includes a Reversible Mesh Pinnie, Ball, Lanyard, Sackpack, Pre-wrap, and a Mouthguard. Players must provide their own stick, shin guards and Goalies must have their own gear!
Dates: Saturday, 7/10/2010: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Sunday, 7/11/2010: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Cost: $200 per player
July 14 & 15 - Sweet D Field Hockey Clinic for U14 players, grades 4-9 in Palmyra, Pa.
Two day, day camp for Middle School aged players ages 8 – 15 years old, on the outdoor FieldTurf field at Palmyra's “In the Net” Sports Complex. This camp is designed for Field Hockey players going into the 9th grade or younger. This camp is designed for both advanced U14 players and beginners. Players will receive 5 hours of instruction and they will be separated into skill groups. Each player will receive the Longstreth Camp Package that includes a Reversible Mesh Pinnie, Ball, Lanyard, Sackpack, Pre-wrap, and a Mouthguard. Players must provide their own stick, shin guards and Goalies must have their own gear!
Dates: Wednesday, 7/14/2010: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and Thursday, 7/15/2010: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $100 per player

July 31 & August 1 - Maria Whitehead Memorial Tournament at Temple's Geasey Field
Sweet D Field Hockey, LLC is hosting a Memorial Tournament in memory of Maria Whitehead. This Tournament will consist of full field games (11 vs. 11) for Women's Club Teams. (No College or High School players. Adults only.) Each team will get 5 games which include 3 round robin games and 2 cross over games. Games will be 50 minutes (two 25-minute halves and a 5 minute halftime.) Crossover games will occur on Sunday and a Tournament Champion will be awarded with the 1st Annual Maria Whitehead Memorial Tournament Trophy! Each team will need to register ONCE by their one designated “Club Coach.” Registration Confirmations and Waivers will be emailed to each team's “Club Coach”.
Dates: Saturday, 7/31/2010 and Sunday, 8/1/2010: Games times will be determined based on number of teams.
Cost: $400 per team
August 7 - Randy Lokey Memorial U14 Tournament at Temple
Join us in Philadelphia for full field games just for Under 14 Field Hockey players! This 5th Annual Tournament was founded in memory of Randy Lokey, a loving father and #1 Ball boy, who has been dearly missed by the TUFH Family. All proceeds will be contributed to The Randy Lokey Memorial Fund and the Temple University Field Hockey Program.
This Under 14 Tournament is for Middle School aged field hockey girls only (Ages 11-14 years old as of August 7, 2010).
Players must NOT have started High School. Teams may have between 12 and 20 players on the roster. Each team must have a minimum of at least 1 Goalkeeper and 11 field players. Games are full field, 11 vs. 11 (1 Goalkeeper and 10 field players on the field.) Each team is guaranteed a minimum of five 25-minute games that will be officiated. Each team will need to register ONCE by their one designated “Club Coach.” Registration Confirmations and Waivers will be emailed to each team's “Club Coach.”
Dates: Saturday, 8/7/2010: Games times will be determined based on number of teams.
Cost: $400 per team
