Field Hockey Wins Its Own Philadelphia City 6 Spring Tournament

Owls also went 3-0 in Rutgers Spring Tournament this past weekend
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team is coming off an extremely successful weekend of spring play that saw the Owls go 3-0 at Rutgers on April 2 before hosting and winning the Philadelphia City 6 Spring Tournament on April 3.
At the Rutgers Spring Tournament, Temple beat Sacred Heart, 3-1, and beat Monmouth, 1-0. The Owls then tied Rutgers, 0-0, but went to strokes and beat the Scarlet Knights 3-2 with rising sophomore Lizzy Millen in goal.
On Sunday, April 3, the Owls hosted six other teams on Geasey Field: Drexel, La Salle, Villanova, Saint Joseph's, a St. Joe's Alumni Team and a City 6 Senior team.
