TU Head Coach Amanda Janney, Katie Briglia, Sarah Dalrymple and Bridget Settles win HPC National Championship

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Team New Jersey took the title at last weekend's USA Field Hockey Senior Women's National Championshp with help from three members of the Temple field hockey team along with head coach Amanda Janney. Katie Briglia, Sarah Dalrymple and Bridget Settles all represented the Owls as New Jersey defeated the South, 3-2 in overtime.

New Jersey won its third title in a row at the championships, held this year at American University in Washington, D.C. Janney has been an assistant coach and administrator for the team in each of those three years, and Dalrymple was the starting goalkeeper both this year and last year. It was the first time on the team for both Briglia and Settles, who previously competed at the junior level.
