PHILADELPHIA - The lopsided opportunities for penalty corners were the difference as Temple field hockey was shut out by Ohio, 2-0, in the final game of the 2011 Temple Tournament at Geasey Field. The undefeated Bobcats (4-0) had nine chances on corners compared to three for the Owls (1-3).

Ohio scored their first goal on a direct corner in the 21st minute, as Louzeth Schutte put in the back of the net with assists from Jessica Jue and Laura Mastro.

Cathryn Altdoerffer took a pass from Schutte after a send-in on a corner in the 56th minute for Ohio's second and final goal of the afternoon.

Temple's Bridget Settles recorded four total shots including three on goal, but overall the Owls were out-shot 13-7. Jen McGill made five saves for Ohio while Temple's Lizzy Millen recorded one.

The Owls will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 9 in their first road game as they travel to Lafayette for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
