Taryn Nichols Represents Field Hockey at Winter Graduation; Reflects on Career as an Owl

PHILADELPHIA - Former field hockey student-athlete Taryn Nichols was among the graduates at Temple's winter graduation ceremony on Jan. 27, earning her degree in sport and recreation management. Nichols, a native of Selinsgrove, Pa., played in 81 games for the Owls from 2007-2010 and was twice named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll.
"I'm very appreciative and grateful for my experience at Temple as well as with Temple Athletics," reflected Nichols. "It has been an amazing four and a half years, filled with many great memories. I'm especially thankful to those who contributed to my success both academically and athletically: AJ and her coaching staff, Nick Plack and the academic department, my teammates and their families, and my parents."
