Field Hockey's Amber Youtz Named Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month

PHILADELPHIA - Amber Youtz, already well-decorated from the month of October, has now been named the Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month. Youtz led Temple field hockey to a 6-2 record in October and scored eight goals.
At the conclusion of the month, also the end of regular-season play, Youtz was named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year. Four of Youtz's goals were game-winners, and she also recorded four assists for 20 total points in the month. She was named the A-10 Co-Player of the Week on Oct. 15.
Youtz scored one of her game-winning goals in overtime vs. Lock Haven after breaking her nose earlier in the contest. The Owls were 5-2 in conference play, and Youtz's performance helped send the team to its 10th straight Atlantic 10 Tournament.
