Field Hockey Named Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad

10 Owls earn distinction for having a GPA above 3.3 for the Fall of 2011
CHANDLER, Ariz. - Temple field hockey has been recognized as a 2011 Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Team, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on March 5. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year.
In addition, 10 of the student-athletes on Temple's team were named to the National Academic Squad for having a GPA of 3.3 or above during that same semester. The Owls' honorees are as follows:

Katie Briglia, Jr.
Tori Cox, So.
Molly Doyle, So.
Emily Fuertsch, So.
Lauren Hunt, So.
Becca Keener, Sr.
Kaylee Keener, Sr.
Nicole Kroener, Fr.
Caryn Lambright, Sr.
