DAYTON, OHIO –
The Temple men's basketball team takes to the road Saturday to face the Dayton Flyers in a nationally-televised game. Tip-time for the ESPNU-televised contest is set for 11:00 a.m. with the game also being broadcast on 1210 AM WPHT.

The Owls, 15-7, 4-4 in A10 play, will be looking to string consecutive victories together for just the second time in 2013.  In doing so, the Cherry and White would provide head coach Fran Dunphy with his 150th win at Temple.  Dunphy, who enters the game two wins shy of Don Casey (151, 1973-82), is fifth on Temple's coaching win list with a 149-72 record in his seven seasons at the helm.

Senior guard Khalif Wyatt continues to lead not only the Owls, but also the Atlantic 10 Conference in scoring with an 18.9 average.  Red-hot of late, the Norristown, Pa. native is averaging 24.9 points over the team's last eight games and has made 25-of-52 three-point attempts over that stretch.  He also tops the squad with a 4.0 assists per game.

Sophomore forward Anthony Lee (11.3 ppg., 7.7 rpg.) and senior swingman Scootie Randall (10.9 ppg., 6.4 rpg.) also score in double-figures while ranking one-two in rebounding.  Senior Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (8.5 ppg.), who made a career-high five steals in the Charlotte win, and sophomore guard Will Cummings (5.7 ppg.) round out the starting five.

Graduate students Jake O'Brien (8.8 ppg.), who scored a season-high 22 points vs. Charlotte, and T.J. DiLeo, who returned to action after missing two games with a sprained ankle, are the top reserves.
Dayton, under the direction of second-year coach Archie Miller, is 13-9 on the season and, following the Flyers 60-54 win over Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, 3-5 in conference play.  Always tough at home, UD has won three straight conference games at Tom Blackburn Court and six of its last seven dating back to last season.

The top three-point shooting team in the A10 (38.4%), Dayton is led by preseason first team all-league pick Kevin
Dillard.  The senior guard tops the Flyers in scoring (14.9 ppg.), assists (4.6 apg.), three-pointers (42) and steals (27).  Junior guard Vee Sanford (12.3 ppg.) and senior center Josh Benson (10.0 ppg.) also score in double-figures.

Temple leads the series, 16-12, and the Owls own a 7-5 record at Dayton.  The Flyers defeated the Owls last season at the Liacouras Center, 87-77, snapping  TU's 25-game win streak in the building.
