RICHMOND, Va. - Seven of the eight incoming Temple field hockey freshmen recently participated in the United States Field Hockey Association's (USFHA) National Indoor Tournament in Richmond, Va. Under-19 girls and boys from across the United States competed in seven matches over the long weekend, beginning March 1.

One of Temple's participants, Ali Meszaros, won a gold medal in the U19 H Pool with her WC Eagles V team.

"We have a very talented class joining our team next year," said Temple head coach Amanda Janney. "It was great to see them compete with and against the best players in the nation."
