PHILADELPHIA - Temple field hockey alumni and coaches will be well-represented at the inaugural Harrow Cup, set to take place June 8-9 at the Owls' own Geasey Field. The Harrow Cup aims to serve the post-collegiate market by providing a competitive and exciting opportunity to play. Six teams will play in the weekend-long tournament.

Temple head coach Amanda Janney and assistant coach Charise Young will play for the Vipers, while graduate assistant coach Kelly Driscoll will be a goalkeeper for the Tembos. Alli Lokey ('08) will play for the Boomers, Erin Hanshue ('09) will be a goalkeeper for the Ninjas, and Bridget Settles ('12) will play for the Titans.

The idea of the Harrow Cup was born during the 2012 National Field Hockey Festival in West Palm Beach, Fla. Inspired by the passion, excitement, and enthusiasm of the Harrow Field Hockey staff at their annual opportunity to play, Mark Hayden, the leader of Harrow Sports, decided that more needed to be done for the underserved market segment of post-collegiate players. Temple field hockey is helping make this opportunity happen by hosting the tournament, and encouraging coaches and alums to participate.
