Alyssa Delp Named to BIG EAST Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Alyssa Delp, a junior forward for the 16th-ranked Temple field hockey team, has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Oct. 13-19. The Owls went 1-1 for the week, falling narrowly 3-2 at #19 Old Dominion but rebounding for a 4-1 win at William & Mary.
Trailing 2-0, Delp helped the Owls get back into the game at Old Dominion, assisting a goal by Amber Youtz before scoring the game-tying goal in the first period.Â
Temple has three games remaining in the regular season, with two of those being BIG EAST contests. First up is a 1:00 p.m. game at BIG EAST rival Georgetown on Friday, Oct. 24.
