Scrubbling Bubbles commercial featuring Megan Brown
PHILADELPHIA - Temple field hockey alum Megan (Moyer) Brown ('94) is featured in a national commercial for SC Johnson's Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer. Brown's success in starting up field hockey and lacrosse programs at her daughter's high school garnered so much attention that she was approached for the commercial. When Brown's daughter started at Chicago's Lincoln Park High School, she discovered there was no field hockey program and asked her mother to start one. Brown did so in 2011, and the following spring she also started up the school's first girls lacrosse program. The Chicago Sun Times wrote an article about it, and since the inception of the teams, they've had over 200 girls matriculate through the program.
While at Temple, Brown (then Moyer) was an Academic All-American, the President of the PR Society of America and the Valedictorian speaker for the School of Communications at her graduation in 1994. She was an honorable mention All-Atlantic 10 selection as a senior defender for the Owls.
