Field Hockey Player Spotlights: Sarah Keer and Rachel Steinman

During each week of the 2015 Temple field hockey season, two student-athletes will be featured for "Player Spotlights" on OwlSports.com. The third player spotlights of the year will help Owl fans get to know senior Rachel Steinman and redshirt sophomore Sarah Keer.

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Super strength. Do you have siblings? Names, ages? One sister Sarah, who is 10. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Eggs. Favorite candy? SNICKERS! What is your proudest accomplishment? Being able to play for TUFH. If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Dolphin. What's one word to describe yourself? Blunt. Where would you like to travel in the next five years? Spain and Germany. What is your biggest fear? Spiders. What is something your mom or dad taught you? Respect your elders. Do you have any superstitions before games? I always have to wear my favorite sweat band. What is playing on your iPod today? Big Sean: Paradise.	Do you have siblings? Names, ages? I have two brothers, JT (22) and Daniel (16). If you could have any super power, what would it be? The ability to read minds. If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be? Skewed self-perception. What is your favorite place to eat on campus? J&H all-you-can-eat, specifically breakfast. If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? A beach house. What is your proudest accomplishment? Overcoming compartment syndrome. Favorite sport to watch on TV (other than field hockey)? Football. Go Eagles! What TV shows are you hooked on? Almost anything on Netflix, more specifically, One Tree Hill, Revenge, Prison Break, Friday Night Lights and Scandal. Early bird or night owl? Night owl. What is something your mom or dad taught you? Never give up no matter what obstacles are put in your way. Do you have any superstitions before games? Always put my left socks on before my right and wear the same sports bra. I also keep the same general routine on game days and always send out a game day snapchat.
