Alyssa Delp Named to BIG EAST Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Senior forward Alyssa Delp has been named to the BIG EAST Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll for her efforts in two games last week. Delp led the Owls to a 4-2 win at Monmouth on Sept. 18, notching the first hat trick of her career.
Delp's third goal 10 minutes into the second half at Monmouth broke open a 2-2 tie and proved to be the game-winner. She scored her three goals with just four total shots on goal in that contest, and two days later she recorded two of Temple's four shots on goal in a loss to #12 Northwestern.
For the season, Delp leads the Owls with seven total goals which also ranks third in the BIG EAST Conference.

Amanda Collins, Connecticut, Fr., F
Collins recorded the first hat trick of her collegiate career to go along with two assists while leading the unbeaten No. 1 Huskies to an 8-0 rout of Lafayette on Sunday. The freshman is currently second in the conference in assists (5) and third in points (15).

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Catalina Barahona, Old Dominion, Jr., F/M
Barahona picked a great time to score her first goal of the season as she put home the game-winner in overtime as No. 15 ODU upset No. 8 Wake Forest 3-2 on Friday night.

The senior notched her first career hat trick in the 4-2 win over Monmouth. Her third goal broke a 2-2 tie and proved to be the game-winner.
Emma Lucas, Providence, Fr., M
Lucas put two into the back of the net to lead Providence to its first win of the year, besting Brown 6-0.
Charlotte Veitner, Connecticut, So., F
Veitner tallied a goal and three dishes for five points in the 8-0 win over Lafayette.
