Field Hockey's Paige Gross Named to BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

PHILADELPHIA - For her efforts in Temple field hockey's BIG EAST Tournament semifinal game against No. 4 UConn, senior Paige Gross was named to the 2016 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the weekend.

Gross scored for the second straight game in the Owls' loss to the Huskies, who went on to win their fifth straight BIG EAST title two days later. In addition to her tournament honor, Gross was named to the BIG EAST Second Team earlier in the week. She accepted her award on Sunday on crutches after suffering an injury late in the semifinal contest.

The Owls' season concluded with an overall record of 7-12 and a BIG EAST mark of 3-4.
