3.16.16 | Field Hockey
NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Temple field hockey spent Wednesday morning at the Elmwood Park Zoo, visiting the animals and doing team-building exercises on the zoo's ropes course.Â
The Owls focused on team building through stressing the importance of communication and trusting their own abilities while also being comfortable relying on others.
"We are so thankful for the Elmwood Park Zoo and their efforts this morning," said Temple head coach Marybeth Freeman. "They were terrific hosts and provided a ton of fun this a.m. Doing team activities like this can be just as valuable and important as the lessons you learn on the field. We're lucky here at Temple to have the opportunities to do great things like this for our student-athletes."
