Field Hockey's Katie Foran Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - For her efforts in leading Temple field hockey in its first win of the season against La Salle on Sept. 4, senior Katie Foran has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Aug. 29-Sept. 4.Â
Foran scored her first two goals of the season in the victory, including the game-winner. The Owls trailed 2-0 at halftime but Foran's first goal early in the second half began Temple's comeback. With just over eight minutes remaining and the game tied at 2-2, Foran's second goal was the clincher for Temple in its come-from-behind victory.
The Owls have four games left in a six-game homestand, and will next be in action on Friday, Sept. 9 against #14 Delaware at 4 p.m.
