Field Hockey Drops 1-0 Decision at Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Conn. - An early goal by Quinnipiac proved to be the lone score in the game, as Temple field hockey dropped a 1-0 decision on the road. The Bobcats improve to 5-11 overall and 3-3 in the BIG EAST, while the Owls now stand at 4-11 overall and 0-6 in the league.
Keys to the Game
> In the 15th minute, Quinnipiac scored the only goal of the contest when Marisa Larkin took a pass from Michelle Federico and it past Temple goalkeeper Maddie Lilliock.
> Lilliock went on to tie her season high with 11 saves, but the Owls were unable to get the equalizer on offense.
> Temple took five shots on goal (12 total), two of those by senior Hattie Kuhns, but the Bobcats' Livy Golini earned the shutout with four saves.
> Both Quinnipiac and Temple had one defensive save, with the Owls getting theirs from freshman Dani Batze.
> Temple earned five penalty corners including two in the final 20 minutes, but both resulting shots went wide.

> The defensive save by Batze was her team-leading third of the season.
