Volleyball Hits the Road to Play at Tulane, Houston this Weekend

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple volleyball team will play its first conference series on the road this weekend, traveling to Tulane and Houston. The 5-5 (1-1) Owls will play at Tulane on Friday at 8:00 p.m. EST and at Houston at 2:00 p.m. EST on Sunday.
LAST TIME OUT
> Temple volleyball team used a 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-15) sweep to grab conference win number one of the season on Sunday.
> Temple held Memphis to a negative attack, as the Tigers finished with 21 kills and 23 errors to hit -.018.
> As a team, the Owls combined for 11 blocks, while also out-digging the Tigers, 64-46.
> Senior Kyra Coundourides tallied a double-double with 38 assists and 17 digs.
> Senior Irem Asci also finished with a double-double, notching 11 kills and 13 digs.
> Senior Izzy Rapacz had 10 kills, hitting .350, also adding a match-best six blocks.

> Rapacz leads the team with 3.09 kills per set, also averaging a conference-best 1.34 blocks per set.
