Men's Basketball Drops Heartbreaker to Miami

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - A big second half wasn't enough for the Temple men's basketball team as the Miami Hurricanes topped the Owls 78-77 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational. With the loss, Temple falls to 7-3 on the season.
Game Summary
> Junior De'Vondre Perry came up big for the Owls, posting a career-high 18 points off the bench and going 4-of-6 from behind the arc.
> Four Owls scored in the double-digits. Perry led the team with Quinton Rose (14), Alani Moore II (12), and Monty Scott (10) behind him.
> Nate Pierre-Louis was one point shy of a double-double (9 pts, 14 reb), while Jake Forrester had a career-high nine rebounds.
> The game saw seven ties and 15 lead changes, all coming in the second half.
