Season High Score Not Enough as Gymnastics Falls in Nailbiter at UNH

1.30.21 | Women's Gymnastics

DURHAM, N.H. -- The Temple gymnastics team's season high score was just .025 off the pace of UNH, as the Owls dropped a dual meet to the Wildcats on Saturday afternoon on the road. UNH finished wth a 193.675 to Temple's 193.650, as the Owls dipped to 0-5 on the season, while UNH improved to 1-1.

Quotable: Head Coach Josh Nilson
> "This team has a lot of heart. We haven't hit our stride yet, but we will. We went into a hostile environment at UNH. They are the defending back to back champs in the EAGL and we knew it wasn't going to be an easy meet. We went from being down over 1.4 points after the first rotation, to taking the lead on the floor. UNH squeaked by us for a narrow .025 victory, but we won't be discouraged."
> "We will make adjustments, and get back to it against DU, and OU on Sunday."
