Carotenuto Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Temple field hockey goalkeeper Cristina Carotenuto was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league Monday. This is the third week that Carotenuto has been tabbed.
The Allentown, Pa. native came up big for the Owls in the cage this weekend, allowing just one goal (a penalty stroke) and earning her third clean sheet of the season against Drexel. She recorded 10 shots, with a season-high seven coming in the overtime win against Monmouth.
The Owls will wrap up their three-game non-conference stretch at Delaware on March 21.
