Romanczuk Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Temple field hockey freshman Cassie Romanczuk has earned her first career conference honor, being named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on March 7. This is the fourth-straight week that an Owl has earned league honors.
Romanczuk had a career weekend, recording an assist on Taylor Alba's game-winning goal at Villanova on Saturday and scoring the lone goal in the 2-1 overtime loss to the Wildcats on Sunday. The Washington, N.J. native fired one shot.
The Owls will get a break from conference play this weekend, hosting Monmouth Friday afternoon and Drexel Sunday afternoon.
